Unbox the Kaboomracks chassis and remove its contents.
Slide the two chassis legs into their designated slots on the back of the Kaboomracks chassis. Ensure they are fully inserted and snug against the chassis.
Connect the power supply to the barrel jack connector located on the right side of the Bitaxe. Upon connection, the Bitaxe will power on and display “connecting to my SSID,” indicating that the ESP32 chip is attempting to establish a Wi-Fi connection.
On your computer or smartphone with Wi-Fi enabled, locate and connect to the Wi-Fi network named “Bitaxe_XXXX.” Once connected, your device should automatically open the AxeOS GUI. If it does not, you may need to manually type in http://www.msftconnecttest.com/#/ to access it.
Navigate to the settings page within the firmware interface.
Input your Wi-Fi SSID, password, and pool information into the designated fields within the settings menu. Once completed, click the “RESET” button on your Bitaxe to apply the changes.

Download the specific firmware for your ASIC miner model. In this example, we are flashing an S19 Pro, not compatible with BeagleBone Controllers. BeagleBone firmware is typically labeled “BB.”
Locate and open the downloaded RAR file containing the firmware
Plug in your MicroSD card into your computer and open it.
Drag and drop files from the firmware folder onto the MicroSD card. Note: Etching is not required for recovery files.
Safely eject the MicroSD card from your computer.
Unplug your miner, insert the MicroSD card, and plug the miner back in.
Initially, both status indicator lights should be on, then off. A successful flash is indicated by a solid green light; an unsuccessful flash shows a red indicator light. If unsuccessful, try reformatting the SD card and moving the files again or use a different SD card. Once the status light is solid green, unplug your miner, remove the SD card and plug it back in.
You have now successfully flashed your XILINX controller with recovery firmware. Be sure to re-enter your pools and update to the newest version via web update. This can be found on the firmware page under the “Firmware” tab. Use the “release” file first, then use the “merge-release” file second.
